“Coming Soon to STEAM” Build - 06/21/2023
Normal Updates:
-Game window now automatically centers at game start.
-Low version of the music now plays in Character Select screen, as before.
-Chickens can now perform friendly fire attacks if the Confusion upgrade is active.
-Altered the ladder code to slow spawn rates in Ranger-Only and Wizard-Only rounds.
-Added in an encryption system for local stats in both game versions, and local achievements in Itch.io version.
-Added in a system that creates backups, checks stat file integrity, and potentially fixes broken files.
-Set default volume for Master and Music to 75%. This was done to prevent first-time-launches that deafen the player as SO many games do.
-Removed screen from game start.
-Fixed a crash bug in the data-erase system, and it will now clear achievements.
Updates for the Steam Version (To be released soon...):
-Enabled Steam Integration within Global Game Settings (I can’t believe I didn’t do this before)
-Updated a lot of the information, settings and graphics in Global Game Settings for a variety of installers. Most of these will not be relevant, but wanted to cover all bases.
-Fix issue where steam overlay blacked out the pause screen.
-Fix crashes and display issues that were occurring in leaderboard score display.
-Steam Leaderboard system is now up and working on steam servers and in game. Max Round Score: 2,146 / Max Kill Score: 999,999.
